Lotus in the Mirror is a 3D narrative-based puzzle platformer game that explores the mirror as both the game’s core puzzle-solving/platformer mechanic and a critical metaphor within the narrative based on Dream of the Red Chamber, the renowned Chinese classic literature. Therefore, the game aims to engage players in the puzzle-solving while meantime, using narrative and visuals, introducing them to the world of the extraordinary novel through memories of Caltrop, or Xiangling, an often forgotten yet important character within the literature.
